RRPS Seeks Parents and Community Members to Review Instructional Materials
Every six years, the state of New Mexico and local school districts review instructional materials in order to adopt updated materials for use in classrooms.  This year we will be adopting instructional materials for grades K-8 English Language Arts, world languages, and reading intervention to support our implementation of the Common Core State Standards. Parents or community members interested in serving on the instructional materials adoption committee for the school their child attends should contact the principal. Kids Pulling for Kids Project
Cielo Azul is once again participating in Kids Pulling for Kids, a service project to help our local Ronald McDonald House. Please save any pull tabs from drinks, soup cans or pet food cans and have your child bring them to school. The tabs are taken to a local recycler and 100% of the money goes to the Ronald McDonald House. Last year, Cielo Azul turned in 23 pounds of tabs and we’d like to see that number grow even larger this year! We will keep you updated as we turn them in throughout the year. Thanks for your help!
