Parents, Students, Staff, and Family,
We would like to invite you to join us on Friday, March 17th, for a fun, healthy activity while raising money for a good cause! This fundraiser will directly benefit one of our students that is
facing a huge challenge.
Elijah-Jay Dimas is a 4th grader at Cielo Azul Elementary. In May of 2015, Elijah was diagnosed with Metastatic Ewing Sarcoma, a very rare and aggressive childhood cancer. He has tumors throughout his body, skull, and jaw. His spine has even been broken in multiple areas. Elijah is continuing treatment, traveling out-of-state,
while awaiting a stem cell transplant.
Collection bins have been placed in every classroom for loose change. Students can bring in whatever coins or dollar bills they wish to contribute for
the cause. The classroom that collects the most money will win a pizza party!
On March 17th, we are asking that each student wears yellow and walk the track as many times as they can in 30 minutes under the supervision of our PE Coaches and volunteers. There will be music to help make it a fun experience for everyone. We invite you to come walk the track with your student(s) to make it a family event in supporting this family!
A student will receive a wristband for a $5.00 or more donation either to the coin collection buckets or through the Donation Sheets. One wristband per student due to limited quantities.
All fundraising envelopes with donation sheets and money are due by
the day of the event, Friday, March 17th, 2017.
Each grade level will be participating at the following times: Kinder: 10:15am to 10:45am; 4th Grade: 11:10am to 11:40am; 5th Grade: 12:00pm to 12:30pm; 1st Grade: 1:15pm to 1:45pm; 3rd Grade: 2:00pm to 2:30pm; 2nd grade 3:00pm to 3:30pm.
Please help make this a safe, fun and successful fundraiser to help Elijah-Jay Dimas.
