Starting tomorrow, March 31st, students will start the NM standardized tests. All third, fourth and fifth graders will take the New Mexico Measure of Student Success and Achievement (NM-MSSA). NM-MSSA test will consist of 4 sessions. In addition, all fifth graders will take the New Mexico of Science Readiness (NM-ASR). The NM-ASR will consist of 3 sessions. ELA- March 31, April 1st Math- April 4th and 5th Science (5th grade only)- April 6th, 7th, and 8th It is extremely important for your child to be in attendance for testing days. Students should only be absent in the event of an emergency. We kindly ask that you do not schedule any out of school appointments such as dental or doctor visits on the dates listed above. We have a very small window for makeup testing so attendance on testing days is vital. We appreciate your support and the encouragement you give your children as they prepare to take the state assessment.
